Stuck on something? We're here to help with all questions and answers in one place
For Buyers
1. Is it safe to buy a YouTube channel on Hypertube?
Yes! Every transaction on Hypertube is protected by escrow. Your payment is held securely and released to the seller only after you receive full channel access — zero risk for buyers.
In case of any dispute, our agents review all details and provide a fair resolution. Learn how escrow works for every deal type at hypertube.io/escrow.
Service fees are listed at hypertube.io/fees.
2. Is it legal to buy a YouTube channel?
Yes. YouTube offers an official feature called Google Brand Account that allows legal ownership transfer of any channel. This is the standard method used in all Hypertube transactions.
3. How do I verify a channel's condition before buying?
Start by reviewing the listing description and screenshots. You can also message the seller directly to request fresh analytics.
After payment, our agent attaches up-to-date screenshots to the deal. Once you accept the channel invitation, you can inspect all stats from inside YouTube Studio — if anything doesn't match, you can cancel and get a full refund.
4. Can a seller recover access after the sale?
No. When the transfer is completed through Hypertube escrow, the seller permanently loses access to the channel and cannot recover it.
5. Does Hypertube offer a guarantee?
Yes. Hypertube provides a guarantee on YouTube channel and service transactions for the full duration of the deal. Review our refund policy at hypertube.io/refund-policy.
6. How to Buy a YouTube Channel for the First Time
Step-by-step guide to buying a YouTube channel safely. Learn how to evaluate, negotiate, and transfer a channel using escrow.
1. Define Your Goals and Budget
Before browsing listings, decide what you need the channel for. Are you looking for a monetized channel to earn passive ad revenue? A channel in a specific niche to promote your brand? Or a channel with an established audience to launch your content career?
Choosing the right niche is half the success. Finance, tech, and health channels command higher prices because their RPM (Revenue Per Mille) reaches $15–$40 per 1,000 views, compared to $2–$5 for entertainment or gaming.
→ Explore 1,000+ niche ideas with RPM data at Hypertube.io/tools/faceless-niches
Set a clear budget. YouTube channels typically sell for 10–30x their monthly revenue. A channel earning $500/month may cost $5,000–$10,000 depending on niche, subscriber quality, and growth trends.
2. Check Analytics Before Buying
This is the most critical step. Most channels on Hypertube have a Performance Score — a composite metric based on revenue stability, audience quality, and growth trends. Channels scoring above 80% are the best for first time buying.
Check these key metrics before making an offer:
- Revenue history — request at least 6–12 months of YouTube Analytics screenshots. Look for stable or growing income, not a declining trend.
- Traffic sources — channels with organic search and suggested video traffic are more sustainable.
- Subscriber authenticity — watch the subscriber-to-view ratio. A channel with 100K subscribers but only 500 views per video likely has fake or inactive subscribers.
- Strikes and copyright claims — even one active Community Guidelines strike can lead to channel termination.
- Content originality — make sure the channel uses original content, not re-uploaded or AI-generated material.
3. Use a Secure Escrow Service
Never pay a seller directly. A trusted escrow service holds the buyer's payment until the channel is fully transferred and verified.
- Buyer deposits funds into escrow.
- Seller transfers the channel via Google Brand Account.
- Buyer verifies full access, monetization status, and channel health.
- Escrow releases payment to the seller.
→ See how Hypertube escrow works at Hypertube.io/escrow
4. Start Growing Your New Channel
Create a content plan before you take over. Have at least 4–8 videos planned so you can start uploading immediately after transfer. A gap of more than 2–3 weeks without new content can reduce your reach in recommendations by up to 40%.
→ Generate a content plan tailored to your niche at Hypertube.io/tools/content-planner
Study the existing audience. Go into YouTube Analytics and analyze who is watching — their age, geography, traffic sources, and which videos perform best.
Optimize your SEO from day one. Every new video should have a keyword-rich title, a detailed description (at least 150 words), and relevant tags.
Invest in thumbnails and packaging. The click-through rate (CTR) determines whether your video succeeds or fails. The average CTR across YouTube is 2–10%. Top-performing channels consistently hit 8%+.
7. How to Safely Start Using Your New YouTube Channel
YouTube's automated systems actively monitor connections between channels. If the platform detects that multiple channels share the same account, IP address, or device fingerprint, it can terminate all linked channels.
- One channel = one Google account. Most channel terminations happen because Google detects a shared Gmail account. Hypertube provides a dedicated pool of clean Google accounts for safe transfers.
- One channel = one IP address. YouTube tracks IP addresses across all sessions. Use dedicated individual proxies — one unique IP per channel.
- One channel = one browser fingerprint. Use an antidetect browser that creates a completely isolated environment for each channel.
- One channel = one AdSense account. Multiple channels connected to a single AdSense account is one of the strongest signals Google uses to identify linked channels.
- Follow all YouTube Community Guidelines. 70% of channel terminations happen within the first 90 days after purchase.
8. Can I Verify Channel Analytics Before Buying on Hypertube?
Yes — Hypertube gives you three ways to verify YouTube channel analytics before making a purchase. First, every listing page includes detailed stats and screenshots uploaded by the seller. Second, you can message the seller directly to request fresh, up-to-date analytics. Third, you can order a Performance Score Review — a professional audit where a Hypertube agent verifies all channel details, analytics, and metrics on your behalf.
9. What Happens if the Channel Gets Terminated After Purchase?
Hypertube provides a transaction guarantee that covers the channel exclusively during the deal process. Once full ownership is transferred to the buyer and the transaction is marked complete, all sales are final. Hypertube cannot control actions taken on the channel after the transfer and is not responsible for terminations, strikes, or policy violations that occur post-sale. Buyers are encouraged to follow safe channel management practices from day one.
10. Is There a Money-Back Guarantee on Hypertube?
Yes — Hypertube offers a money-back guarantee if an issue arises with the channel during the active transaction period, provided the problem was not caused by the buyer. Once the buyer begins using the channel (uploading content, changing settings, or managing the account), they assume full responsibility for all activity on it. Full refund policy details are available at hypertube.io/refund-policy.
11. How Does Hypertube Escrow Service Work?
Hypertube offers three types of escrow-protected deals to secure every YouTube channel transaction. Each deal type follows a structured, step-by-step process with a dedicated escrow agent overseeing the transfer.
Fast YouTube Channel Deal
- Buyer pays the channel price plus the service fee.
- Seller assigns the Hypertube escrow agent as channel owner.
- Agent verifies the channel and grants manager rights to the buyer.
- After 7 days, the agent assigns the buyer as primary owner and removes the seller's access.
- Buyer receives full ownership — Hypertube releases payment to the seller.
Usual YouTube Channel Deal
- Buyer pays the escrow fee to initiate the deal.
- Seller assigns the escrow agent as channel owner.
- After 7 days, the agent verifies all channel details, removes the seller's access, and releases the channel for payment.
- Buyer pays the seller using the agreed payment method.
- Seller confirms payment, and the agent assigns the buyer as channel owner.
- After an additional 7 days, the buyer receives primary ownership.
Service Deal
- Buyer pays the escrow fee and the full service price to start the deal.
- Seller completes the assignment and delivers the product or service.
- Buyer verifies the deliverable and releases payment to the seller.
- The escrow agent oversees the entire process and assists both parties if any disputes arise.
Learn more about each deal type at hypertube.io/escrow.
12. Can I Change the Channel's Niche After Buying?
Yes, you can change the niche of a purchased YouTube channel. However, it is not recommended — changing the content niche may negatively affect the channel's algorithm performance, audience retention, and monetization status. For best results, continue producing content in the same niche or transition gradually over several weeks.
13. Will YouTube Ban the Channel for Changing Ownership?
No — transferring YouTube channel ownership through a Google Brand Account is an official feature fully supported by YouTube's Terms of Service. Ownership transfers conducted via Brand Account do not violate any platform rules. However, buyers must follow post-transfer safety guidelines to protect the channel after the deal is complete.
14. How Do I Check if a YouTube Channel Has Strikes or Warnings Before Buying?
Review the YouTube Studio screenshots on the listing page — they display the channel's current status, including any active strikes or warnings. You can also message the seller directly to request fresh, up-to-date screenshots before making a purchase. For additional assurance, order a Performance Score Review where a Hypertube agent verifies all channel details on your behalf, including strike history and policy standing.
15. Will Monetization Stay Active After the YouTube Channel Transfer?
Yes — monetization is preserved after ownership transfer. The channel's YouTube Partner Program status, including ad revenue eligibility, remains intact throughout the process. However, you need to connect your own AdSense account so that revenue is directed to your bank account.
16. How Can I Make Sure the Subscribers Are Real and Not Botted?
Check the channel's engagement metrics — the views-to-subscriber ratio, average watch time, and comment activity are the strongest indicators of audience quality. Channels with real audiences typically show consistent view counts relative to subscriber numbers and organic comment patterns. You can review analytics directly on the listing page, ask the seller for fresh screenshots, or purchase a Performance Score Review where a Hypertube agent audits the channel for fake subscribers, artificial engagement, and bot activity.
17. How Long Does the YouTube Channel Transfer Take?
7 days. Google Brand Account requires a minimum 7-day waiting period to complete a primary owner transfer — this is a mandatory Google security requirement, not a Hypertube limitation. The waiting period ensures account safety and prevents unauthorized ownership changes.
18. What Is a Google Brand Account and How Does Hypertube Transfer YouTube Channels?
A Google Brand Account is an official Google feature that allows multiple users to manage a YouTube channel without sharing personal login credentials. It is the safest and most secure method for transferring YouTube channel ownership. The process works by adding a new owner to the Brand Account and then removing the previous owner — all within Google's official tools, with no third-party software required.
19. What Happens if I Cancel a Deal on Hypertube?
Cancellation terms depend on your transaction type. In all cases, refunded fees are added to your Hypertube balance.
Usual Transaction: The seller receives the channel back and the buyer is refunded all fees. Refunded amounts are automatically credited to your Hypertube balance.
Fast Transaction: You can cancel only if the channel has not been modified — no videos or shorts uploaded. If no changes were made, your full payment is returned to your balance.
Service Deal: If the seller has not yet delivered the product for review, you receive an immediate refund. If the product has already been submitted for review, a Hypertube agent evaluates all details and makes a fair decision. If the deliverable does not match the agreed terms, you receive a full refund.
Full cancellation and refund details at hypertube.io/refund-policy.
20. What Is the Difference Between Usual and Fast YouTube Channel Transactions?
Hypertube offers two YouTube channel deal types — Fast and Usual — each designed for different buyer preferences.
Fast Transaction: The buyer pays the escrow fee plus the full channel price at once to Hypertube. The buyer gets manager access to the channel immediately. After 7 days, the buyer receives primary ownership and Hypertube releases payment to the seller. Best for buyers who want instant access to the channel.
Usual Transaction: The buyer pays only the escrow fee upfront, then waits 7 days for channel verification. After verification, the buyer pays the seller directly using any agreed payment method. Once payment is confirmed, the buyer receives full channel ownership. Best for buyers who want maximum control over the payment process.
21. How Do I Find a Trusted Seller on Hypertube?
Check the seller's rating and total number of completed deals — this information is displayed on every listing page. Then visit their profile to read reviews from previous buyers. Sellers with a high rating and multiple successful transactions are the safest choice. Also look for the Safe Deposit badge — this shows how much money the seller has frozen as a personal guarantee to cover any potential damages or poor-quality work.
22. I Paid the Escrow Fee — What Should I Do Next?
Review the deal steps and current status on your transaction page — each stage is clearly outlined so you know exactly where the process stands. Then wait for the seller to proceed with their part of the transaction. If the seller takes too long to respond, you can cancel the deal at any time and receive a full refund of your escrow fee to your Hypertube balance.
23. How to pay escrow fee with crypto?
To pay escrow fee with crypto you need an account on any crypto exchange platform like Coinbase, Binance, ByBit or others.
- You choose "Crypto" in payment options and click "Pay".
- You get in crypto payment gateway Cryptomus. Now you need to choose currency and network. Select currency you want to send, then select network for currency.
- Click "Proceed to the payment".
- You will see the amount you need to pay and wallet address. Copy and paste the amount. Crypto networks charge fees to send funds, make sure when you send funds that we receive the exact mentioned amount, no less. Copy the crypto wallet address and send funds to that address.
- When you paid funds, the system will automatically confirm your payment within 10-15 mins and deal status will be updated.
24. How Much Does Hypertube Escrow Cost? What Are the Fees?
The minimum escrow fee is $10 per transaction. The standard commission rate is 7%, with volume discounts applied automatically on higher-value deals:
- 7% — standard fee for all deals
- 5% — deals over $1,000
- 4% — deals over $10,000
- 3.5% — deals over $20,000
The fee is calculated automatically when you initiate a transaction. For example, a $5,000 channel deal incurs a $250 escrow fee (5%), while a $25,000 deal costs $875 (3.5%).
25. Why Is There a 7-Day Waiting Period in YouTube Channel Deals?
This is a Google security requirement, not a Hypertube policy. Google only allows primary owner rights to be transferred to a user who has been a member of the Brand Account for at least 7 days. This mandatory waiting period is built into Google's system to protect both buyers and sellers from unauthorized or fraudulent transfers. Hypertube cannot shorten or bypass this timeframe.
26. How Do I Pay the Escrow Fee to Start a Deal on Hypertube?
Once the seller agrees to the deal terms, a "Pay" button appears under the deal status on your transaction page. You have three payment options:
Crypto — the fastest and easiest way to pay.
Card / Google Pay / Apple Pay — pay instantly via the Card option. All card payments are processed through a secure, encrypted gateway.
Hypertube Balance — pay directly from your account balance. You can top up your balance at any time in your profile.
27. How Do I Pay the Seller on Hypertube?
Payment depends on your transaction type:
Fast Transaction: You pay the escrow fee plus the full channel price at once before the deal starts — via card, crypto, or balance depending on the seller's payout preference. Hypertube holds your payment in escrow until you receive primary ownership after 7 days, then releases funds to the seller.
Usual Transaction: You pay the seller directly only after the escrow agent confirms the channel is verified and ready. The seller sends their payment details in the deal chat. You use whichever payment method you both agreed on before the transaction began.
Service Deal: You pay the full service price plus escrow fee upfront. The seller receives payment only after you verify and confirm the delivered product meets the agreed terms.
28. Do I Get an AdSense Account With the YouTube Channel?
No — all YouTube channels on Hypertube are sold without an AdSense account by default. After the ownership transfer is complete, you need to link your own AdSense account to the channel to start receiving ad revenue. If you do not have an AdSense account or need assistance setting one up, check available options at hypertube.io/services.
29. What if the Seller Doesn't Accept My Payment Method?
You and the seller need to agree on a payment method that works for both parties before starting the transaction. The most popular payment methods used in Hypertube deals are Crypto, PayPal, Wise, and Payoneer. Crypto is the most universal option as it works worldwide with no banking restrictions or transfer delays. Discuss your preferred method with the seller in the deal chat before initiating the deal.
For Sellers
1. How much is my YouTube channel worth?
Channel value is based primarily on monthly revenue, niche RPM, subscriber quality, and content library. Most channels sell for 10–20x their monthly earnings. List your channel and get a free valuation from our team.
2. Is it safe to sell my channel through Hypertube?
Yes. We use a secure escrow system — you don't transfer your channel until the buyer's payment is fully verified and held in escrow. We've facilitated over 5,000 safe transactions with zero payment fraud cases. Read more about escrow system at Hypertube.io/escrow.
3. How does the transfer process work?
Once a buyer is found and payment is secured in escrow, our team guides you step by step through the channel transfer. After the buyer confirms everything is in order, funds are released to you. The entire process is supervised by our specialists. Process is fully legal and processed via Google Brand Account.
4. How long does it take to sell a channel?
Most channels sell within 2–4 weeks. Channels with stable monetization and clean history tend to sell faster. High-demand niches like finance, tech, and health often find buyers within days. To increase visibility and sell faster, explore our promotion tools at hypertube.io/faq?category=promotions.
5. What fees does Hypertube charge sellers?
We charge a flat commission only from the buyer. Sellers do not pay fees. Please check out our fees at hypertube.io/fees.
6. How can I promote my listing on Hypertube?
Hypertube offers five promotion tools to increase your listing's visibility:
- Be in Top ($20 / 7 days) — Your listing is boosted to the top of search results with a "Recommended" badge.
- Performance Score Review ($15) — An agent audits your channel across 10 categories (10 points each, 100 max). Channels scoring 80+ rank higher in search results. Free for channels earning $300+/month or $3,000+/year.

- Auto-Update ($15 / 5 days) — Your listing is automatically bumped to the top once per day.
- MAX FIRE ($100) — The ultimate promotion package. Your listing is pinned to the very top above all other listings and cannot drop lower.
7. Can I sell a YouTube channel without monetization?
Yes. You can list and sell any YouTube channel on Hypertube regardless of monetization status — non-monetized channels are welcome.
8. How do I protect myself from fraudulent buyers?
Always use Hypertube's escrow service for every transaction. The escrow agent controls the entire process, verifies both parties, and ensures the channel is only transferred after confirmed payment. Never transfer a channel outside of escrow. Learn how it works at hypertube.io/escrow.
9. Will my subscribers know the channel was sold?
No. Ownership transfer through a Google Brand Account is completely invisible to subscribers. There are no public notifications, no visual changes on the channel, and no alerts to your audience.
10. What if the buyer cancels after the deal has started?
The escrow agent verifies that the buyer has not modified the channel or uploaded any content. Once confirmed, the channel is returned to you — you must remove the buyer from the Brand Account, and the buyer receives a full refund. Full cancellation terms at hypertube.io/refund-policy.
11. How quickly do I receive payment after selling?
Immediately. Payment is released to the seller as soon as the deal is marked complete and all transfer steps are confirmed.
12. What payout methods are available for sellers?
Currently, all seller payouts are processed in cryptocurrency. This ensures fast, borderless transactions with no holding periods.
13. Can I sell a YouTube channel that has an active MCN contract or debt?
Yes, as long as you disclose this to the buyer before the transaction. The buyer must be fully aware of any MCN obligations or outstanding debts. Transparency is required — failing to disclose this information may result in a dispute and deal cancellation.
Services
1. Is it safe to buy services on Hypertube?
Yes. Every service transaction is protected by Hypertube escrow. Your payment is held securely until the seller delivers the product and you confirm it meets the agreed terms. If the service does not match the description, you can open a dispute and receive a refund. Learn more at hypertube.io/escrow.
2. How do I verify a service seller's quality before buying?
Check the seller's rating and reviews on their profile page. Additionally, look for the Safe Deposit badge — this shows how much money the seller has frozen as a guarantee to cover any potential damages or poor-quality work. The higher the deposit, the more the seller has at stake.
3. How does the Hypertube dispute system work?
If you are not satisfied with the delivered service, open a dispute in the deal chat. The escrow agent pauses the transaction and reviews all details — the seller's assignment, listing description, and your complaint. If the agent determines the service was not delivered as promised, you receive a full refund. The process is fair and transparent for both parties.
Full dispute and refund terms at hypertube.io/refund-policy.
4. What types of services are available on Hypertube?
Hypertube hosts a wide range of YouTube-related services including AdSense accounts, Gmail accounts, channel production and management, growth consulting, content strategy guides, thumbnail design, SEO optimization, and more. Browse all available services at hypertube.io/services.
5. How do I know if a service seller is trustworthy?
Check the seller's rating, number of completed deals, and read reviews on their profile page. Sellers with a proven track record and positive feedback are the safest choice. All transactions are escrow-protected regardless of the seller's rating.
Also look for the Safe Deposit badge — this shows how much money the seller has frozen as a guarantee to cover any potential damages or poor-quality work.
6. What if the delivered service doesn't match the description?
Do not confirm delivery. Open a dispute in the deal chat and our escrow agent will review all details — the listing description, seller's promises, and what was actually delivered. If the product does not match, you receive a full refund.
7. What if the seller stops responding after I pay?
Your funds are held in escrow and are never released until you confirm the product. If the seller fails to deliver within a reasonable timeframe, you can cancel the deal and receive a full refund automatically.
8. Will an AdSense account I buy get banned?
Hypertube provides a guarantee for the duration of the transaction only. Once the account is transferred and you confirm delivery, all responsibility shifts to you. To reduce risk, check the seller's reviews and ask for account history screenshots before buying.
9. Can the previous owner recover access to a Gmail or AdSense account?
If the transfer is completed properly — including password change, recovery email and phone update — the previous owner cannot regain access. Our escrow agent guides you through all necessary security steps during the deal.
10. Is there a guarantee period after purchasing a service?
Hypertube guarantees service deals for the duration of the transaction. Once you verify and confirm the delivered product, the deal is final. Always inspect the product thoroughly before confirming — after confirmation, refunds are not available. Full details at hypertube.io/refund-policy.
Safety and Trust
1. What is Safe Deposit and how does it protect buyers?
Safe Deposit is a security feature where sellers freeze a portion of their own funds on the platform. If a dispute arises and the seller is found at fault, Hypertube can use these frozen funds to compensate the buyer immediately.
For buyers, the Safe Deposit badge on a seller's profile is a strong trust signal — it shows the seller has real money at stake and is committed to honest dealings.
2. How does Hypertube verify sellers?
Hypertube uses a three-layer seller verification system:
Identity verification — every seller must complete identity verification before publishing any listing on the platform.
Safe Deposit — sellers can freeze funds as a financial guarantee of their trustworthiness.
Zero tolerance for fraud — any seller who attempts a scam or lists a stolen channel is permanently banned from the platform with no possibility of return.
3. Is there an identity verification system on Hypertube?
Yes. All user verification is processed through didit.me, a trusted third-party identity verification service. This ensures every seller on the platform is a real, verified individual.
4. Where are my funds stored during a transaction?
All funds are securely stored in Hypertube's vault for the entire duration of the deal. Money is only released to the seller after the buyer confirms the product or channel has been delivered as agreed.
5. What should I do if I've been scammed?
Describe the situation in full detail to your escrow agent in the deal chat. Our team will thoroughly investigate all evidence — messages, screenshots, transaction history — and take action to resolve the issue. Hypertube has a zero-tolerance policy for fraud and will assist you throughout the process.
6. How do I contact Hypertube support?
Open the Chats & Deals section in your account and select the chat with your escrow agent. For general inquiries or issues outside an active deal, email us at [email protected].

Tips for Sellers
1. Send buyers to the FAQ page
If a buyer doesn't know how to use the Hypertube platform, send them a link to this FAQ and ask to read it — hypertube.io/faq.
2. Ask buyers to set up notifications
When you say "bye" to the buyer for 7 days awaiting in Usual YouTube deals, ask them to set up notifications to stay in touch and not miss deal status updates.
3. Always ask for a review
After the deal, always ask the buyer to leave a review for you. You both will be able to write a review under the deal status.
4. Set a payment time limit
When the escrow agent tells the buyer to pay, let them know the time limit to pay after which you will cancel the deal.
5. Help first-time buyers
Always help buyers with every question they ask. Buyers who are here for the first time need more help and patience from you.
6. How to create and invite escrow agent via Brand Account
Watch the video guide on how to create and invite the escrow agent as manager via Brand Account in YouTube deals: YouTube Tutorial.
